Tim Kintz is the author of the Amazon bestsellers Frictionless and Fearless, and president of the Kintz Group, one of the automotive industry’s premier sales and management training companies. Tim delivers hands-on training, coaching and presentations throughout the world, teaching practical sales and management. Tim started working at a Honda dealership, detailing cars at first, until he became friends with a salesperson, and soon after a manager. That salesperson saw potential in Tim that he didn’t know he had, and changed his life forever. Tim started out on the floor, learning everything he could, and quickly worked his way up to management. He was recruited by a top Dealer Group in the area, and was eventually sent to NADA Dealer Academy to learn every aspect of running a dealership.
Eleven Alaskan winters convinced him to join a well-respected training company, teaching sales and management techniques in warmer climates. After 13 years, Tim decided to go back into the dealership—this time as a General Manager. It didn’t take long to realize that the business had changed. Customer expectations had evolved, and the need to evolve the sales process was critical. After a year, Tim knew it was time to share his knowledge with the industry that had given him so much. Tim is a strong believer in the power of a great leader. His work centers on the tools and skills that managers and sales teams need to anticipate change, adapt to challenges and dominate their market.
